Greek mythology allows for the dramatic. ‘Only Tragedies’ focuses on grief and heartbreak, it is by all means not light hearted poetry. It gave me the freedom as a writer to venture into experiences that are not completely my own, yet still feel completely familiar. This will be my first (self) published work of writing and it has nothing yet everything to do with me. After reading some of Homer’s work the inspiration came to me naturally and before I knew it I found myself in possession of a body of work that tied together seamlessly.
